“Flower Bathing” kit come with essential oils of lavender and rosemary, as well as lavender, rose and calendula flowers to add texture, colour and scent.

Making soap from scratch requires the use of an alkali (lye) to transform oils into soap. This kit will teach you how to work safely with lye, and you will make 6 bars of nourishing, moisturizing soap.

Suggested age is 14 years and up, but adults can do this kit with older children (8 years and up) with careful supervision.

Cold process soap making requires time to cure, so after you make the soap, you will have to wait 3 weeks before using.

The kit contains:

250 ml Olive oil

210 ml coconut oil

30 ml castor oil

15 ml shea butter

30 ml essential oils of lavender and rosemary

Dried flowers (lavender, calendula and roses)

++++++++++60ml sodium hydroxide (lye) LOCAL MONTREAL DELIVERY OR PICKUP ONLY (Sodium hydroxide cannot be sent via post) +++++++++++

*******NOT included in the kit - you will need:

60 ml sodium hydroxide (can be purchased at hardware stores or soap making supply stores)

Rubber gloves

Protective goggles/glasses

A 4-6 cup stainless steel pot or bowl

A 2 cup pyrex glass or heat resistant container

A spoon (wood, stainless steel or silicone)
